David is an unrepentant optimist who has spent his life following his dreams wherever they take him. A native of Los Angeles, after completing his BA at UCSD he moved to Israel where he met his wife Yael. During his career leading private philanthropies, he developed a unique ability to work closely with philanthropists in a position of absolute trust and discretion in order to guide them and help translate their dreams into reality. He brings those same skills to the world of real estate, believing that buying or selling a home in Hawaii is typically part of a larger dream and “a blueprint for the reality that we want to create”. Beware – his “can-do” attitude coupled with his lust for life can be infectious. David is a passionate sailor and active outrigger paddler. He loves to read anything connected to naval history, the Golden Age of Piracy, politics and philosophy. David and Yael moved from Tel Aviv to North Kohala on the Big Island, and take great pride in their two sons who live in Israel.
