Concern for current events in Hawaii intensifies by watching the dramatic news with videos of volcanic eruptions. Governor sent out the clear message to reassure people that Hawaii is still a very safe and beautiful place to come visit and enjoy.
Hawaii Governor David Ige:
“Travel is Safe to the Hawaiian Islands. All of Hawaii is open for business and welcoming visitors with the hospitality, aloha, warmth and picturesque settings visitors seek in our islands. This includes Hilo, Pahoa and the Kona and Kohala coasts on the island of Hawaii. The one area that people need to avoid is lower Puna where the eruption is ongoing.”

The dramatic volcano activity and dangerous air quality are confined to the immediate area of the volcano lava flow which is a small remote area of 5 square miles radius on the southeast side of the Big Island in the Puna district.
Air quality is good and the views are outstanding on the west and north coasts. There is occasional vog for a short time, then skies clear up beautifully when trade winds blow.
To our valued Clients and Guests:
We want to agree with the Governor’s words to reassure you of the current status here on the Big Island.
Hawaii is still a very safe and beautiful place to come visit and enjoy.
